Babuc ABC is a new family of meteo-climatic and generic environmental data loggers, prevalently for in field use, from LASTEM.

These units have been designed and manufactured taking into account all data acquisition, transmission and logging requirements, from the simplest for non-expert single unit users to the most complex for expert users who handle networks of multiple units. The result is a line of data loggers that are both powerful and flexible, whilst maintaining simplicity of use.
The characteristic features are:

  • - Universal inputs, for connecting the majority of sensor types currently on the market.
  • - Models with 5, 10, 20, 30, 38 and 54 inputs.
  • - All operational modes are fully programmable, both locally and via PC.
  • - Extractable 'Memorycard' local backup memory as standard.
  • - Large amounts of information available on the local display.
  • - Logging of processed results, events and spontaneous operator messages.
  • - Data transmission via direct cable connection or modem (GSM cell-phone).
  • - Available communications protocols: LASTEM or MODBUS
  • - Equipped with actuators for activating alarms and commanding external devices.
  • - Possibility of on-site calibration checking and automatic recalibration.
  • - Versions housed in IP65 case, shockproof portable cases and 19" rack.
  • - On-line print-out of the data acquired
  • - Wide choice of PC based SW available for handling communications and using acquired data.
