| ORANGE POT INTRODUCTION |
| The Orange
Pot is Midori's latest proprietary contactless position sensor
product line. The sensor is a combination of a magnet attached to a shaft
and a Hall element, which senses linear or rotary motion of the magnet
and generates its' ratiometric output signal. Midori's proprietary contactless
sensor design combined with the Hall element allows Midori to provide
low cost position sensors such as UV-2H and UV-2HF inclinometers. By taking
advantage of advancing semiconductor technologies, Midori developed the
second generation Orange Pot by adopting Hall Effect IC (CMOS monolithic)
which integrates the Hall element with temperature compensating and signal
conditioning circuits. Using this state of the art Hall Effect IC in rotary
and linear position sensors (including inclinometers), Midori is able
to offer cost effective contactless position sensing solutions with improved
functionality and superior temperature characteristics.
Orange Pots are distinguished by an orange label and have the letter "H" in the Midori product model number. |
